New York State Excelsior Scholarship - Up to $5,500 each year awarded. First complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and NYS's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).  Then visit hesc.ny.gov/excelsior to find more information and deadline information.

First New York Federal Credit Union -   $1000 Scholarships offered to a graduating senior who is a member of the credit union and an active volunteer in their community.   Application deadline is March 8, 2019.

ELKS  Legacy Awards - Any college bound high school senior who is the child or grandchild of a member of the Elks in good standing are welcome to apply. Applications must be submitted by February 1, 2019. Please visit enf.elks.org/leg .

NYWEA Scholarship - The New York Water Association is a non-profit educational organization that offers $50,000 in scholarships. Visit nywea.org  for applications and more information. Deadline is Feb. 28, 2019

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship - awarded to graduating seniors who show a commitment to the ideals and teachings of Dr. King. Visit www.capareacc.org for the application. Deadline is March 29, 2019. 

Jean. Coon Humanitarian Award - $1000 Award given for outstanding community service. Academic achievement is NOT a factor in selection of the recipient. Please see Guidance office or flyer for more details. Deadline is February 15, 2019. 

Epilepsy Foundation Scholarship - $1000 awarded to students who are currently being traeted for epilepsy and have plans to further their education. Please see Guidance Office or flyer for more details.  Deadline is March 15, 2019.

REMINDERS:

NCAA Clearinghouse applications should be completed by all seniors who think they might play sports at a Division I or Division II college. This is done online at www.ncaaclearinghouse.net. Be sure to notify the guidance office so we can send the necessary transcripts.
